After many years of working in family practice in Charlottesville, Dr. Stokes finally opened his own practice on June 1st, 2014. 

​

Dr. Stokes was born and raised in Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1984. During his time at UVA, Dr. Stokes became well known for his skills on the basketball court. Today, he continues to make an impact on the lives of those in the Charlottesville community. Dr. Stokes is an easy-going but hard working family practice doctor who loves chatting with his patients. Even though his basketball days are behind him, Dr. Stokes loves to stay active; you might even see him running around town!
